SO, exactly what updates have been done on this home? This home was brought into the community in 2010 and since we want everything on the homes to blend, the old shingles and siding were removed. We built a new garage, (22’ x 20’ with a 16’ door) and a covered 8’ x 10’ porch and installed new shingles and siding. New slider doors were installed to access the porch from the dining room and to enclose the back porch. This home was the first in the community to go onto a full insulated concrete slab under the home, porch and garage. Instead of vinyl skirting around the home we mortared blocks in, for a more residential look. Obviously the concrete driveway and sidewalks are also new. The windows were updated a few years ago. Inside the home, new berber carpeting was installed throughout the home. Although none of the homes at Genesee Heights Estates are very old, this home definitely looks like the newest one there!! This cozy home is situated on a 5000 sq ft lot with an end entry attached 2 car garage, as are most of the homes at Genesee Heights Estates. This means two things: #1 You won’t have to spend all your time doing yard work and #2, You’ll be out of the weather when taking in the groceries!! However, if you enjoy your flowerbeds, as many of the residents of Genesee Heights Estates do, you have plenty of room to showcase your talents!
The garage is just off the kitchen, so you won’t have far to carry your groceries. This kitchen flows with efficiency; with enough counterspace to get the job done, but not so much that you’ll clutter it. Glass doors on the corner curio will let you display your goodies.
It may be difficult to imagine how open this home is, but from the floorplan you can see the dining room opens right into the large living room. You won’t have to spend all your time doing yard work if you don’t want to. You'll have plenty of time to spend with family, new friends, and old friends in your comfortable new home.
